A Bulldog Meets A Mammoth-Mack Granite in Mammoet

Having admired those First Gear Mack’s I decided to get one. It arrived yesterday in the mail. It was the white one with a red trailer. This morning at 9:00 am I headed to the shop with a Coke and plate full of left over pizza (breakfast of champions). At 5:30 PM I emerged from the shop with the following completed conversion-all in one non stop nose to the grind stone day.

For those of you contemplating repainting one of these a word to the caution. The model is almost all plastic and everything is epoxyed, and I mean everything! During the course of the disassembly I broke every single mounting pin of every component-you just cannot help it. Anyway the end result was pleasing to me and as my wife cannot tell one of my red and black things from another I thought I would share it.
