Mammoet GMK 6250
Can you believe it another Mammoet conversion complete, and only three
days in the making!! I must say that it helps to have the most
understanding wife in the world. She lets me go play in my shop all weekend
without those silly honey do projects. Why I do not know, but I sure am
lucky!
For your pleasure I am presenting a Grove GMK6250 converted into my
favorite livery. This is another of the DHS open house auction purchases.
I got to tell you I had a blast that weekend and the fun part was
bringing home the big box of treasures. Ah no offense to all the people I
meet with and had dinner with, especially forum friend prtstrdj, but it
is a show about models. I still have a big pile to go through, so I
hope I do not bore you with a continuous parade of models.
I took a couple of the assembly process. This model had an awesome
drive and suspension system that I wish the model manufacturers would go
back to. Please Conrad no more press fittings!! My wife the
photographer has made up a lighting rack to focus light on subject pictures and
also plays with all the buttons on the camera, but the proof is in the
pictures. The finished model pictures are a great improvement over my
put it on the green square and shoot.
Anyway enough chatter-enjoy….
Bob
