Syncrude 495HF
At the request of treeman and due to the fact it is a gorgeous day, I am posting some pictures of my Syncrude 495HF. Instead of the inside flash shots, I took the boys outside for the photo shoot. Hope you enjoy.
Here we see the Mammoet boys showing up for a call for service on the Syncrude 495HF, apparently there had been a problem with the boom, but by the time the crane got there, everything was back to normal.
And for those wanting support vehicles, here is my Silverado pick up and the newest addition, a Dodge Ram Crew Cab 4x4 pick up. This little guy came in 1:50th as a wind up toy with a big box hanging under the rear end. A few minutes with the band saw and a little work with some plastistrut and brass tubing, a normal looking pick up emerged.
And yes I had to get a mining truck to go with my shovel, not a give in to the dirt side, but a necessary complimentary accessory for the awesome 495HF shovel. And the 793 for $50.00 is a pretty darn decent model!
