Mammoet Nelson 3x3x3
I received my Sword Nelson 3x3x3 model on Friday. Chuck, let me say this-YOU ROCK! We in the hobby owe you a beer. For those of you who have it, you know what I mean, for those of who don’t-get it and get it fast. (www.dhsdiecast.com or Construction Collectibles .) The model is crazy sick with detail, including all the air brake plumbing to each and every axle, the electrical wiring, all the hatches and covers that open, the wide load swinging gate, working tie downs, a full set of cribbing wood trailer mounted with their own tie downs, a full set of tie down chains and on and on. Truthfully, if I were small enough, I would anticipate that if I put fuel in the tank, it would turn over and off I would go-the detail is that great. Now being the smart fella I am, I got the red one, set it up for some pictures and then converted it to Mammoet by painting the center hubs red, adding Mammoet decals and using one of my many existing Pete 379 Mammoet tractors, and in a few short hours I had a Mammoet version of this awesome model.
First as it came:

And then the simple conversion:

And finally I put the whole heavy haulage family together for a quick shot, including the once and still king, the 3x3x3x3x3:

And something to tease you with, the next project in progress (and thanks to those of you helped me in the other thread)
